Canalside – The New York State Canal System is considered one of the best bicycling resources in the state. Eventually, there we’ll have a total of 500 miles of trails to ride along the canals. Currently, three major segments comprise a total of 136 miles, the Mohawk-Hudson Bikeway, Erie Canal Heritage Trail and Old Erie Canal State Park. You’ll find all sorts of information here.
